Bush "Booted" out of Iraq by WMD

George W Bush was finally given a fitting reply by a journalist when he threw a boot at the President of US, the most powerful nation on earth. Call it ShoeGate controversy.

A proud journo used his WMD(weapons of mass destruction), a humble shoe on the most powerful person on earth.

It was one of the most defining moment of Iraqi pride and anger. Watch the video on Timesnow

However, this is event is also an easy way out for US troops in Iraq. They will not have an additional reason to remove their troops out when it was the time to build the country which they destroyed.

I hope it is not another event planned by US to ease itself out of the situation in Iraq. It got into a mess and now might wish to disown it.

Amreican would think the president is an proud american would took an iraqi boot for the nation and Iraqi people would bask in the glory of true son of the soil act by a proud person. It might be a win-win situation after all.

Only time shall tell if America finally does withdraw its troops from Iraq.

What it would not be able to do is to erase the memories of its wrong done to people of Iraq. This wounds would keep coming back to Americans for time to come.

Mumbai needs SWAT Teams.

Special Weapons and Anti-Terror Teams much like Los-Angeles SWAT teams seen on television is now need of the hour for country like India.

Swift, precise, well equipped with latest war machines is what the cities of India needs to be able to combat terror.

The police of major cities are ill-equipped to fight modern forms of terror. The police has lathis(cane stick) and a rifle which needs to be reloaded each time with fresh sets of bullets.

And all police foot soldiers are allotted fixed set of bullets (6-12 bullets) which are insufficient to kill even two fully grown terrorists.

"After they finish this quota of bullets, they need to submit an written application on A4 size paper for additional set of bullets ;)"*

Combating national borders and defending streets of the city requires different strategies, especially some premier Metro cities in the country. Many soft targets are easy picking for these terror groups.

No blame game needs to be started, which Indians love so much.

No caste based division is required. The attack is on the spirit of the city's people. So no particular caste is targeted or even spared.

Wrong side of Mumbai Police.

Terrorist I think got on the wrong side of Mumbai Police. They managed to kill some of its finest men. I think their lives wont be easy any more. Knowing Mumbai Police and this city well i think this is maximum the terrorist can do. I think it may be payback time for Mumbai police. The police needs to get its ground networking working. I still think it is the 2nd most powerfull and effective force in the world. And knowing mumbai city the way it is, i have little doubt in my mind the they are No. 1. Now its time for them to get their act together and work to flush out the terrorist out of this country.

Mumbai's Original Hero Died - Vijay Salaskar

Vijay Salaskar died in combatting terrorist at Metro Cinema.

Anti-Terrorism Squad chief Hemant Karkare, who was probing the Malegaon blast case, and another senior IPS officer were among three officials killed tonight in separate encounters with terrorists who struck at various places across the city. 54-year-old Karkare was killed when he was leading an operation at hotel Taj against terrorists who had taken 15 people, including seven foreigners, as hostages.

The 1982 batch IPS officer had returned to his state cadre after serving for seven years in Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) at Austria. Another IPS officer Ashok Marutirao Kamte, a 1989 batch IPS officer, was killed while fighting terrorists at Metro Cinema in the city along with encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar.
